Simple Basil Pesto

BASIL PESTO

4 cups of Fresh Basil (packed)
1/2 cup Fresh Parsley (packed)
2 cloves of Fresh Garlic
1 cup Parmesan Cheese Shredded
1/2 cup of Toasted Walnut/Pecans
3/4 cup of Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
1. Start by adding your Basil, Nuts, Garlic, and Parsley into a blender or food processor, and
blending it using the pulse setting for about 5 seconds.
2. Next add the oil and blend it on a low to medium speed setting.
3. Now add the Parmesan cheese and pulse the mix for another 3-5 seconds.
4. Finally adjust the flavor with the salt and pepper.
Enjoy with pita, grilled breads, sautéed shrimp or just for dipping!
I will try this recipe with pasta
