So simple, so creative, so delicious!
People have been enjoying the makeover of breakfast toast for many years. And we're going to share one of our favorite recipes with you so that you can too. At first glance, it might seem like it'll take a little work to make, but this "Breakfast Bruschetta" is well worth the effort... Sweet, tart, creamy, crusty, fruity, filling and just plain delicious!
Peach Toast

Fresh Bread (Sliced)... (French Bread, Crusty Sour Dough, or Ciabatta works best)
1 Fresh Peach (Sliced into thin wedges)
1/4 cup of Cream Cheese (Softened)
2Tbsp Peach Marmalade
2Tsp Raspberry Preserves
1 tsp Almond Extract
1/4 tsp Lemon Zest
2 Tbsp Honey
3 leaves Fresh Mint (chopped)
And now for the "How To"...
Directions
Begin by lightly toasting the bread until it's just slightly browned (so that it doesn't become too dry or hard).
While the bread is toasting, take the softened cream cheese and add the peach marmalade to it, mix it together gently and allow it to sit for the flavors to blend.
While the cream cheese mixture is sitting, mix the raspberry preserves, lemon zest and almond extract together and set it aside.
Once everything is prepped and the bread has finished toasting, spread the cream cheese mixture over one side of the toast and add the sliced peaches over top of the spread.
Drizzle some of the raspberry preserves over top of the sliced peaches and finish the toast with a little chopped mint.
Enjoy and Repeat!
